A few days back Hrithik Roshan confirmed that he is gearing up to step into Tom Cruise's shoes in the official remake of "Knight And Day”, now its John’s turn. John production house has already their initial necessary work to adapt the Hollywood superstar Gerard Butler starrer ‘Law Abiding Citizen’, which is a thriller action hit Hollywood movie of 2009. John will not only produce the film but also play the lead role too in the film.

                                      Son of Sardaar is an Action Comedy film starring the versatile actor of Indian cinema Ajay Devgan in the male lead and beautiful Sonakshi Sinha in the female lead. The film also features well-known actors like Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla, Mukul Dev, Punit Issar, and Tanuja. The King of Box office Salman Khan has appeared in a little cameo role and a song sequence in the film.

Total Worldwide Box Office Collection of Jab Tak Hai Jaan till 3rd Weekend

                               

                                Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a romantic film starring the King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan in the lead. The film also features Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma as the female lead. This film is the last directorial movie of late Yash Chopra, who died on 21^st October, 2012. Yash Chopra’s son Aditya Chopra has written and produced the film under their home production banner Yash Raj Films. The Oscar award winner A. R. Rahman gave the music of the film and Gulzar wrote the lyrics. It released on the Diwali (13^th November) with another big release Ajay Devgan’s starrer ‘Son of Sardar’.

                                  Jab Tak Hai Jaan released on 600 screens in overseas markets and the estimate for the number of release screens in India is around 2,500. This film featured Shahrukh as a lover boy and the success of the film has proved that romance is still a hot cake for the movie buffs. The film has already earned the status of ‘Hit’ in Indian domestic market and ‘Blockbuster’ status in the Overseas. To be precise Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a Worldwide Blockbuster. It has become only 100 Crore romantic film starring Khans, which is a proper tribute to the late Yash Chopra.

                                     “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” collected 15 crore nett in India and Rs 7.5 Crore nett in Overseas its opening day of release. It collected Rs. 98 Crore nett in India and Rs 52.50 Crore nett in its first extended weekend, which means that it collected a total Rs 150 Crore nett worldwide in its first weekend only. It joined the 100 Crore club in Indian market in its 11^th day of release.

                                  "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" collected Rs 19.50 Crore nett in 2^nd week at the Indian Domestic box office and Rs 13.50 Crore nett at the Overseas, which is quite good indeed. The film lost a few crore due to the shutdown of cinema halls in all over Mumbai for two days. It also affected due to the other big release ‘Son of Sardar’ as mentioned earlier.

                                      JTHJ collected Rs 3.05 Crore nett in 3^rd week at Domestic Box office while it collected around Rs 3.50 Crore nett at the overseas market, which is not that bad. The film suffered a lot in 3^rd week due to the big release of Amir Khan’s Talaash, which is quite expected. As another big release Akshay Kumar’s 'Khiladi 786' has already released worldwide, the film will add a crore max to its total in coming days as it is almost over with the run.

                                     So the movie can be able to collect Rs 195 Crore max Worldwide in its first phase of release. So it will surely cross Rs 200 Crore mark in its 2^nd phase of worldwide release. It has to be mentioned here that the movie had a mind blowing run in the overseas market and it has already became the 3rd highest grosser ever in overseas.

Preview: Dabangg 2 is an upcoming movie of the blockbuster superstar Salman Khan. It is the sequel of the 2010 release All Time Blockbuster “Dabangg”. The film is likely to be the biggest blockbuster of 2012, where Salman Khan will be back in action in his modern ‘Robin hood’ avatar as “Chulbul Pandey”. The movie will be an action packed comedy film. Sonakshi Sinha will play the female lead as ‘Rajjo Pandey’ with her everlasting ‘mast mast do nayan’. The versatile south Indian actor Prakash Raj will play the role of the baddie.

                             Dabangg was the highest grosser film of the year of 2010 and 4^th all time highest grosser film in the history of Bollywood. So the expectations from Dabangg 2 are very high indeed. There will be entertainment, entertainment and more entertainment for sure. Arbaaz Khan is directing the film for the very first time of his career. Considering the recent box office record of Salman Khan, Dabangg 2 is going to add another feather to his crown for sure. The film is an action comedy one with loads of masala and larger than life attitude. The music of the film is already hit in the chartbusters. This is the 8^th installment Khiladi film, with that the Khiladi franchisee is considered as the biggest franchisee of Bollywood. The film featured Asin in the female lead. She looked stunning as usual, though there is little scope for her to act as the script does not demand that at all. It also has some mind blowing actors like Paresh Rawal, Mithun Chakrabarty & Raj Babbar. They have done full justice to their role. This movie is a treat to those who like action masala films. The story is not up to the mark and at some point the directing is also little bit clueless. The movie has some beautiful one liner where Khiladi Akshay is in full form. This is not an intellectual movie for sure. This is a completely fun-loving movie with loads of logic less laughing scenes. In short it’s an Entertaining film with loads of masala.

Boxoffice Expectation: The film is releasing in 2700+ screens in India, which is huge indeed. These types of masala films attract the small screen audience very much. So the movie is very much likely to do good business in the small screens of all over the India. Though the overseas business is not likely to score big but it should not affect the film as the budget is not that huge (Rs. 45 Crore). Akshay Kumar already gave three hits this year like Houseful 2, Rowdy Rathore and OMG-Oh My God. Khiladi 786 is surely going to be his fourth hit of this year. The multiplex business of the film will be affected due to Amir Khan’s Talaash. The film will suffer a lot after its first weekend due to the biggest release of the year Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2. The film’s overall business will be affected due to this sandwich scenario, but it is expected that the movie will score big in its first weekend only. Khiladi 786 is likely to do well in the North India mainly specially Punjab, Pune etc. This is true that movie will do good business but to be honest we don’t think it will cross 100 Crore Nett in India, that will be really a tough nut to break for Khiladi 786.
